HORSHAM - Managing Immunisation Emergencies - Tuesday 16 July
The course provides knowledge about adverse events occurring after immunisation that require an emergency response.
The course outlines the management of these adverse events, discusses emergency procedural planning and demonstrates the use of appropriate resuscitation equipment such as airway adjuncts and bag valve mask devices. Importantly, current CPR competencies are reviewed and assessed within the context of an immunisation adverse event.
